Directed by Hernán Nuñez and Marian Hafenstein
George Porter will present The Alexander Technique and ‘Orchestral Body Flow‘ (OBF – III).
We’ll work on developing & rehearsing new and current BGE (Berlin Guitar Ensemble) and GOE (Guitar Orchestra Of Europe) Repertoire, preparing towards a public Performance (for a small audience under strict Covid protocol) in Sievershausen.
This ten day Project offers dedicated group work for Beginners and for Intermediate levels, Personal Meetings, Alexander Technique (groups and individual), and is open to those who have at least attended a GC, GCE, GEE, GOE, and/or BGE Course.
George informs about OBF:
‘Orchestral Body Flow’ draws on principles from Guitar Craft, the Alexander Technique and Tai Chi Chuan to explore how an orchestral body of people organises itself from moment to moment as music arises. This requires engaging connections: to ourselves and our instrument, to other players, to the orchestral space and to our audience. On this Course, we will practice building these connections and watch what unfolds during rehearsal and performance.’
