Background: While the CGT were touring the NE US, they had agree to lead a NST Workshop for local circles and crafties. The NJGC offered our local meeting place (Pottersville) to hold the event on 30th of June 2001. This was an entire day of work, including meals for the attendees. Additionally, the following day, 1st of July 2001, the CGT did a performance in the church across the street from the community center in Pottersville where the NJGC opened the performance, followed by Tony Geballe, then the headliners, the CGT. This was open to the public and family members. During the performance, prior to the CGT set, a severe storm came through the area and knocked out the local power. And while there were a full audience in the church waiting patiently, someone found a generator and hooked up the power in order to complete the performance which was done in candle light. A wonderful experience for all (including the performers) which was well received. Also, all proceeds from the concert were donated to a local Pottersville fund to help support the community.
